Rivets are the components used to efficiently attach two pieces of
material with the help of a hand riveter or rivet gun. Rivets are tubular,
consisting of a hat and mandrel; the mandrel's length is reduced when
installed. The hat and mandrel of a rivet can be made up of a single metal or a
mix of different types of metals. The measurements of each rivet are done
installed grip range and length. The varieties of rivets include Multi-Grip, Silver Bimetal Contact
Rivets, Large Flange Open End, and Structural.
Here are the few commonly used types of rivets
Multi-Grip Rivets
Multi-Grip
Rivets can be used as an alternative to traditional rivets where the rivet
thickness is required. Each Multi-Grip Rivet has a grip range of various rivet
sizes. The grip range allows flexibility in designs as the Multi-Grip
Rivet size is suitable for various applications.
Large Flange Rivets
The large flange rivets have a large washer at
the hat as compared to other kinds of rivets. These revits comprise a hat and
mandrel, are tubular, consisting
of a hat and mandrel; the length of the mandrel is reduced when installed.
Structural Rivets
These rivets
are entirely built using stainless steel. They have a stronger assemble than
the regular rivets due to the amount of energy they produce. They are also known as interlock rivets due
to their various attributes.
